TOPIC-Mission; There is but one mission the church has in the world. That mission is Matthew 28:19. First of all, who is the church? It is not the buildings that church people meet in. It is the people themselves who comprise and make up the church. Of course, the only ones that includes is those who have been born-again by the blood of Jesus Christ that was offered at the hill of Golgotha over 2000 years ago. It is the ones who have been born-again by the Holy Ghost of God Himself. We cannot do the work ourselves or change ourselves. It is submitting to the work that God wants to do in us and He is the only one who can change the heart of any human being on this earth. That is the church. The mission then, of that church, is found in the Lord's own words in the book of Matthew 28:19. "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world, Amen".

The mission of born-again believers is first, to GO! Without us going, the world will not be saved. They will not come to us. We have to go to them. That will be wherever He leads each of us to go. It may be our job site, our neighborhood, our home, our family, our state, our nation, our world. Wherever it is, that is the mission of the church. We have to go to accomplish the mission. The only way to accomplish that mission is to first, Go. If you're not willing to go, the mission will not get done and others will not be saved. The second thing we have to do to accomplish the mission is to, TEACH! Who teaches? The born-again believers. What do we teach? The only thing we have to teach! The Holy Word of God. Paul said in the book of Acts 20; "I have not shunned to declare unto you the whole counsel of God". We are to teach the whole counsel of God. Not just bits and pieces that we want to teach or adhere to. But, all the Word. From Genesis to Revelation. From doctrine to doctrine; line upon line, precept upon precept. We do not build a following on one aspect of the Word of God which may tickle the eye of mankind. We build the kingdom of God on all the Word of God. That is why the church is not functioning like it should today, but is failing in it's calling and mission.

We have not taught the Word of God as it should be taught. But, we have let the world into the church and the world's leaders come in and tell us what to teach and what to preach and we have caved in to what they have asked us to do. Remember what Paul told Timothy; in the last days, they shall heap to themselves teachers having itching ears and shall turn their ears from the truth unto fables. Just because some will not listen, that does not excuse us from the mission. GO and TEACH!! Number three, is to BAPTIZE them. Once the Holy Spirit baptizes them in their heart and they become born-again, it is up to us to get them to the water baptism that is commanded by the Word of God. Does the water save? No! It is only a witness to the world and to those who witness one's baptism, that they have given their life to Jesus and they have went from death to life. From going under the water in dying to their self and raising out of the water to live for Jesus. It is only a witness and does not save. The Holy Ghost has already done that work that man or water cannot do. We do this in the name of God Jehovah our Father, His blessed Son Jesus-who left heaven to die for our sins and the blessed Holy Ghost who changes our heart and lives inside of us. The three beings operate as one unit-the Godhead. God Himself being the Father, Jesus Himself being the Son, the Holy Ghost Himself being the Spirit. The fourth part of the Mission is, TEACH OTHERS TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER JESUS HAS COMMANDED US. The last part of our mission is to teach the commandments of Jesus. First, we go. Then, we teach the fundamentals of Christianity. Third, we baptize in the name of the Holy Godhead. Next, we teach the growth principals of being holy and sanctified. What did Jesus command us? In Matthew 22:37, Jesus said the first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord God with all our heart, soul and mind. The second is like unto it. To love our neighbor as ourself. He said that on these two commandments, hang all the law and all the prophets. The whole Word of God is found in these two commandments and we are to teach them as we go, as we teach the basics of Christianity, as we baptize and as we give others, the growth principles of the Word of God. As we do this, the mission of the church, He said He will be with us all our of lives unto the end of the age. Yes, this is the mission of the church. Again, the church is His children and they have a job or mission to do. THIS IS THE MISSION of the church or your personal mission. AMEN!!!!
