We thank God for the success of the program in March14th, - 19th, 2006 in Edo State, Nigeria. We are grateful to God for the five America guests who came to Nigeria for the mission outreach. Rev. Dr. Rodney Quesenberry, Robert Cassidy and Bob Lindenmuth from Broadus Baptist Church. We also had two Ladies for the children’s ministry “De Dorman and Sori Hernandez” from Helping Hands Ministry “Maranatha Baptist Church- Texas”.

Rev. Rodney Quesenberry and some of his church members have visited us for mission work in October 2003, October 2004, July 2005 and again in March 2006 to preach the love of God. Each time, they met hundreds made decisions for Christ and many have become Pastors and leaders in their communities. Because of Rev. Rodney Quesenberry and others visit to Nigeria, a new generation of leadership has emerge which will have a significant impact on the life of our people. They visited and preached in Schools, Churches, Teachers Conference, Bible Conference, Open Air Meetings, and Children Home. Many people gave their lives to God and some rededicated their lives to God during the program.

On Friday 17th, March 2006. We held International Bible Conference with hundreds of Missionaries, Local Pastors and other ministers from various areas in Nigeria, Rev. Rodney Quesenberry, Robert Cassidy and Bob Lindenmuth carefully and prayerfully distributed over Two Millions Materials, especially Tracts to the Missionaries, Local Pastors and other ministers at the Bible Conference ground at Central Baptist Church, Benin City.

Since then, Tracts, Bibles, CDs, Bible Study Materials “Bible Correspondence Courses” have reached many cities, remote villages, donated and delivered by Spread The Word / Christian workers with the desire to satisfy both physical and spiritual hungry. Every material donated goes directly to those in need. Bringing God’s love in a vital and tangible way.

Rev. Rodney Quesenberry has called for emergency relief project, when preaching in Nigeria and working with missionaries and local Pastors in some location he saw critical needs while preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. Demonstrating God’s love for hurting people, the church are providing children clothes, household items, kitchen Items and other assistance quickly efficiently and compassionately.

Our Marriage was successful, and I cannot begin to describe the wonderful peace, joy and love that flowed into my life from that moment on the wedding day. And over 1,500 people attended the wedding at Egba Baptist Church Egba.

"A Glimpse of Africa"

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

            This paper cannot hold all the words that I have in my heart concerning the recent trip to Nigeria.  The labor was so sweet as we went to schools and churches to tell the gospel story to hundreds of boys and girls at a time. The teacher's training seminar was especially nice as I sensed that The Lord was helping me to communicate with the crowd on how to be an effective children's worker for Jesus. 350-365 people accepted Christ as Savior throughout the week of special meetings and ministering. We thank The Lord for this and give Him all the praise and glory.  It was so nice to get to know Marriet Godstime Evbota the Children's Ministry Director for Spread The Word Ministries. I will be working directly with her in the future, as we reach the children with the good news of hope in Jesus.  Sori was a real trooper!
